History

The history of CEP is still very short. The company was only founded in October 2014 as the acquisition of Kurt Hiller.
In 2016, the company was transformed into a company with the name CEP Consulting Engineering Projects.

However, the development of another company from which the existing know-how is derived is much more interesting.

1970:

The Finnish Ahlström Group founded A.Ahlström GmbH in Kirchheim / Teck. The task of the new company was the development and construction of roller cutters. Already after a short time, a support roller-cutter with automatic AutoTrim fabrication and a CTE roller was installed.

1976:

The Ahlström Group acquired the French paper machine manufacturer Pierre Hanssen & Cie, which was then integrated into Ahlstöm GmbH. Together with Hanssen, roll cutters were successfully marketed both for the paper industry and for non-woven and pulp.

1983:

The American Beloit Corporation and Lenox have taken over the A.Ahlström GmbH and passed it under the name of Beloit Lenox GmbH. The company was relocated to Holzmaden. This location was for Beloit the "Winder Product Center"

2000:

As a result of the South East Asia crisis, Beloit Corporation had to file for bankruptcy. Rollteck GmbH was founded as a management buyout. The goal of Rollteck GmbH was to market roll cutters and also to carry out conversions on reel cutters of all brands.

2009:

Rollteck GmbH was quite successful in your business and the company was taken over by Andritz AG in September 2009 and then moved on to Andritz Rollteck in Krefeld.

2014:

In the course of the drastic reductions in capacity in the paper factories, especially in the case of white papers, Andritz completely broke the Winding Division (reel cutters).

From the year 2000 until the closure of Andritz, Kurt Hiller worked as a sales manager in the listed companies. One of the tasks of the sales manager also included:
